We usually reply within 2 business days, in English or Czech. If you’re reporting a bug, please include your phone model, the app version (you’ll find it in Settings) and what exactly happened. A screenshot helps most.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add friends?
In the app, open Profile → Friends and search for your friend by name, or send them an invite. Once they accept, you’ll see each other’s visits.
Who can see my reviews?
Only your friends. When saving a visit you can mark it as private, and then only you can see it. Strangers see only your name and profile photo so they can find you.
Why don’t I see every restaurant on the map?
That’s on purpose. Ketchup isn’t a directory of every restaurant. The map shows only places where you or your friends have been, plus places you saved to “Want to try”.
How do I edit or delete a visit?
Open the visit in your diary and choose Edit or Delete from the menu in the top right. A deleted visit disappears for your friends too.
How do I report content or block a user?
Every visit, comment and profile has a Report option in its menu. On a user’s profile you can choose Block; they then won’t see your content and you won’t see theirs.
You can also report content by email to podpora@ketchup-app.cz. We usually handle reports within 24 hours. More in the Terms of Use.
I own a restaurant and disagree with a review. What can I do?
Reviews are people’s personal opinions and we don’t edit them. But if a review is false, abusive or illegal, tell us which review it is and why. We’ll assess it against our community guidelines.
How do I delete my account?
In the app under Profile → Settings → Delete account. If you can’t access the app, follow the steps on the Delete your account page.
How do I get a copy of my data?
Email us from the address linked to your account and within a month we’ll send you an export of your visits, ratings and photos. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
How much does Ketchup cost?
Nothing. Ketchup is free.
